Security Alert: X-Cart 4.x Patch Released

X-Cart has released a security update which addresses various vulnerabilities in the X-Cart Classic shopping cart software. Affected versions include 4.0.x through 4.7.4. This patch is named “security-patch-2016-01-12_4.x.х.tgz” and can be located in the File Area of your X-Cart Help Desk account.

It is highly recommended that customers running affected versions of this software apply this patch immediately. InclusiveHost customers are welcome to contact us for assistance with this upgrade.

PHP 7 Has Been Released… and We Have It!

php7The release of PHP version 7.0.0 on December 3 marked a significant milestone in the development of the web programming language. While there are many improvements over PHP 5.6, probably the most exciting is the performance improvement–PHP 7 is up to twice as fast as PHP 5.6!

As an InclusiveHost customer, you can take immediate advantage of this new release. Simple, Select and Inclusive web hosting customers can simply upgrade to the new version using the “Select PHP Version” option in their cPanel. VPS, Cloud and Dedicated customers can upgrade to PHP 7 by adding CloudLinux to their server. Also, cPanel plans to have built-in support of PHP 7 in the near future.
